Amerisure Insurance is a trusted provider of commercial insurance solutions. In 2013, they launched LC Connect, a web-based platform for their Loss Control department to manage site surveys. A mobile extension followed in 2014, offering limited read-only access to survey data.
To enhance the LC Connect Mobile App with modern features and architecture, improving usability for field consultants and aligning with current enterprise standards, One Team US proposed a complete rebuild of the mobile app using Xamarin Forms, enabling cross-platform deployment for iOS and Android.
The existing mobile app was built using Cordova/DevExtreme HTML5 (now outdated), offered only read-only access limiting its usefulness in the field, and data access was managed via a single API lacking flexibility. Authentication and calendar integration needed modernization.
